Our practice is fee-per-service based; however, we gladly file most insurance claims in order to best serve our patients.
When a claim is to be filed, our accounting staff will prepare the required forms based on your specific dental insurance plan benefits.
We remind all of our patients that your specific dental insurance policy is between you and your insurance provider. Should a dispute arise or a balance remains after payment, you will be held responsible for the remaining amount. To help our patients avoid this issue, our staff is happy to submit a pre-treatment estimate to your dental insurance company to ensure you understand your plan’s benefits prior to receiving treatment.
Some dental coverage plans might be based on a fixed-fee schedule, which runs on their own schedule and might not correlate with our payment calendar. Additionally, it is important that each of our patients understand all insurance providers do not offer the same services. Lastly, the length of time it takes to pay your claim will vary based on the coverage provider.
